Sectino 2: 7/11 - 8/5

6:15 PM - 7:45 PM

Contents are different in these two sessions. Students can choose to attend either one of them or both.

This summer course is designed to help prepare your child to meet the reading analysis and rigorous academic writing criteria their impending AP English classes will demand. In short, the material being used in these sessions is based on a highly concentrated exposure, practice, and assessment of the major skills required in Honors 10th grade, AP Language, and AP Literature English curriculum. Every class will consist of focused lectures, on-demand writing, analyzing literature, editing & revising sessions, studying essential literary terms, and strong essay organization. In addition to the daily skills covered, they will be asked to participate and work on literary analysis and writing assignments that relate to the skills & topics discussed in class. As we live in uncertain times in education, it is best that students get accustomed to taking part & actively participate in distant learning and it starts here at CEI.
